Heard a few non-Trump fan attorneys explain this case and one thing is clear... it was a witch hunt. People's opinion and emotions cloud their ability to look at things rationally coupled with the complexity of the law.
What is interesting to watch are people that see the abuse of the legal system to railroad certain types of people but are blind to it when it is aimed at someone they dislike. The inverse is true. If someone like Trump can be attacked by the legal system why would the same not be true in the case of the poor minority classes?
We need a legal system. Ours is deeply flawed. But it is flawed. Not only when it is used against people you like.

Wanna see a real witch hunt? Look what the DOJ did to Hunter Biden after agreeing to a plea deal. Notice how his father didn't intervene because he understands the DOJ is not the direct law firm of the president. He was found guilty in one and just pled to the other. And his president father stayed out of it. How can anyone say this DOJ is working at Biden's direction when IT PROSECUTED HIS OWN FUCKING SON TWICE

It wasn't even close to a witch hunt. And he has been given much more privileges than any other criminal defendant would have been given. How many gag order violations did he have? Any other defendent would have been held in jail pre trial and.during the trial for one gag order violation. The man broke the law. The documentation the prosecution presented during trial made that very clear. The witnesses weren't even really needed to be honest. Did you see the checks? The hand written repayment arrangement? Or did your right wing propaganda networks not show you those? You're in a cult dude.
