He has already won Il Giro and Le Tour this year. Nobody was considering he could run La Vuelta and he did not say anything in July.
But, here we are. 2 stages to finish La Vuelta in Madrid and he has reached the top place at the standing.
Today, another stage where the road goes up and I think that, unless having a problem during the stage, he is going to even increase the distance with the second.
Tomorrow is just a “ride” to Madrid. So, if he manages to finish at the top today, he will win tomorrow La Vuelta.
He can become the first male cyclist to win the 3 big routes within the same year. Nobody else has done it before.
And we can watch it today!!
