The total number of employed persons has fallen by 66,000 since August of 2023. Moreover, the new job growth is almost all in part-time jobs.
The never ending story. They keep inflating the balloon. The question is how long will it last without exploding? And always the citizen paying for the decisions of the powerful. But the most interesting thing is that the citizens either don't care or are so blind that they don't want to see.
Praying for those recently unemployed or long term unemployed. The FED boom and bust cycle needs to stop!
Companies dont have to pay as many benefits for part time workers.
That's usually correct, although there are some part-time jobs that are benefited positions. It's also usually easier to adjust their hours, as needed by the business.
