In his report on the state of the EU today, Mario Draghi calls for the bloc of states to spend 750 billion euros more per year, debt-financed government spending of course. In addition, Europe should agree on a way to jointly take on debt, which is not yet officially permitted for legal reasons. So we can see where the journey is heading: more cheap money, inflation and more state involvement in the economy.
You have to look at the so-called Green New Deal in this context. It is a scheme to artificially boost the weak economy of the eurozone, nothing else.
