The German engineering sector is facing a harsh downturn, as the latest production figures reveal a real decline of 6.8% in the first seven months of 2024. The German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA) has responded by slashing its production forecast for the year from a 4% decline to an alarming 8%.
This is more than just an industrial slump—it’s a warning signal for Germany and the broader European economy that the infantile 'Green Agenda' now materializes in realtime! Only people who argue one-dimensionally assume that it is possible to transform a complex economy into the Middle Ages while it is still in operation, without the secondary effects having a negative impact on society as a whole.
With Germany’s manufacturing backbone faltering, the continent could be staring down the barrel of an economic depression. Years of relying on past prosperity and distracting policies, like climate-driven moralism, have paved the way for a looming collapse. The debt-fueled welfare state, built on unsustainable promises, now teeters on the brink.
It will therefore be interesting to see how German politicians react to this decline as soon as the damage manifests itself in the national budget.
This ideologically, intellectually and economically derailing country should make an excellent short candidate in the next stock market downturn!
Yep... Like that son of a German general I met in Da Nang who is now importing tools for producing items in steel from China to Germany, including the actual steel itself...
