i used to think the whole idea of btc being hope was kind of corny, but over the years, progressing down the maxi rabbit hole, I have come to a place where i now fully believe it.
for me it's hope because world governments keep demonstrating time and again that they will keep printing money and nothing will stop them and the average person just gets poorer as a result, including myself. work harder, make less, buy less, exist less. very depressing!
but at some point, when i truly realised that this was the one thing i could have that would be safe from being stolen via inflation and manipulation, i started to feel better.
so here i am now feeling at least hopeful i can preserve my economic energy without having to fuck around with the snp etc
did any of you guys have a definable 'hope' moment?
I began to take Bitcoin as Hope when I learned that it was a money that was not evaluated, that it was a money that did not lose its value, that it is hard money and that its value increases every day. I was surprised to learn that there is something more than money. Since then, I know that there is hope, I know that there is light.
