No one I talks to feels like things are really getting better. And the government knows it. This is one of the few articles I've seen honestly reporting on that sentiment, putting aside the relatively poor writing.

Recently the government added an extra holiday in the hopes of overall spending, but it has mostly lead to more overseas travel. People with disposable income don't want to spend it in Korea.
