I thought this used to work, but I could be mistaken.
I was searching for recent posts on Liquid. I tried without quotes, and with quotes, and I mostly got lots of results for liquidity instead of liquid.
So I search this way (with quotes) https://stacker.news/search?amount=&q=%22liquid%22 And this way - without quotes: https://stacker.news/search?amount=&q=liquid
Is the "exact phrase" search only supposed to work when there's multiple words in the phrase?
I can do the search in Google (https://www.google.com/search?q=site:stacker.news+%22liquid%22) but the results don't have a date, so they're not that useful. And I'd prefer to not use Google.
Thanks for any advice!

That's a bug.
We're using an english language analyzer that pulls out root words and searches for those, but we shouldn't prioritize that for exact matches.
