"Hello stackers" We often see people ducking as they get out/in of a helicopter while the engine is still running. Is this just a habit, or is there an actual danger in not ducking? What are your thoughts on this, Stackers? If you have any experience with this, please share.

I remember that my dad worked at a newspaper and he would get on a helicopter to report on traffic in my city. It was really incredible when I got on for the first time.

This reminds me of a question I commonly have. When I open and hold doors for people, I notice they tend to still reach out and grab the door. Is it because they think I might slam it on them? Maybe they just don't like accepting kindness?
