A study from The Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco claims that most of the price inflation that plagued the US economy over the past few years was due to global supply chain disruptions, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Murray Rothbard: "What Has Government Done to our Money?"
Me: They printed hundreds of thousands, millions of billions, billions of trillions, of pieces of paper and called it "money", we then (the people) accepted the idea. Now, that's inflation. So, yeah, the government is the culprit here.
reply
Either way it was the government (or at least some collection of governments). Saying the pandemic disrupted supply lines is just a euphemism for government lockdowns.

But during that period it is true that there was a degree of decline in production. But more than anything there was a huge printing of dollars. To such an extent that there was a moment when it was thought that in the United States there would be no more bills because it was too much, however Biden told them, "PRINT MORE" and so it was done. So the poorly told story is only believed by those who remain enslaved by the fiat system. Hopefully they will soon realize that the only solution is Real Money, namely Bitcoin

From what I see, we're a ways off on that. People get that printing money (or at least deficit spending) caused the inflation, but they aren't even close to understanding that the money itself is the problem.
reply
I was told it was Taylor Swift.
reply
I'd be surprised if she had nothing to do with it. Would Biden have won without her endorsement?

Are people so blind that they dont realize that pumping in all that covid money really hurt the system?
reply
They don’t care
reply
Is it that they dont care, or they dont realize that their fiat system are making them slaves?
reply
Both, they don't realize because they don't listen because they don't care.

Its funny how people across the pond are able to work 40 hours and actually survive. Especially in some of the northern European countries.

Consumerism is a helluva drug.
Americans are wealthier and our stuff is cheaper, but we're addicted to consuming crap that's mostly bad for us.
reply
Its unheard of. When did our society become like this? Europeans are a lot more health conscious, probably why obesity isnt such a problem over there.
reply
Probably when the Boomers were kids. I think that's when a lot of unhealthy food-like products started entering our diets and needing to own all the latest stuff became a way of life.
I'm divided on this. It's the half truth. Isn't it. There are many other big reasons like the fiat printing excessively.

It's tough, right? They make such a mess out of everything that it's hard to tell exactly which components of the mess came from what.
reply
Sure, and indeed, it's very tough.
Imagine this: As a builder/producer, you tend to have some idea of where to start from, but you certainly have no idea when and how destruction is going to come upon whatever you're building.
The elite class, because they control the money printers and have the most sophisticated and powerful technologies at their disposal, know exactly when and how to unleash deadly destruction on any productive part of the world at anytime of their wish. Their best is at killing, stealing, and destroying.
As for the rest of us, pawns and peasants, the best we can come close to doing is to take back our purchasing power and be responsible for it. Thanks to bitcoin. We can't afford to lose the current financial battle. We must win or we all perish.
Take bitcoin seriously my friends/bitcoiners!
