We need to shut down all mining facilities.
And the wind farms just in case.
Actually, lets shut down the whole grid.
Then there wont be any problems with windmills blowing up during a tornado storm!

This is the biggest lie I have ever heard, wind turbines work up to a limited capacity and what can cause them to reach that limit is excessive wind like that of a tornado, without wind nothing moves and therefore there is no energy and the miners do not work, the windmills are not batteries so even if the miners increase their demand the windmills will not be able to provide it to them.

You should have a higher level of respect for credentialed journalists

I remember that a journalist friend of mine corrected me on one occasion when I told him that a good journalist must be impartial, neutral in any situation and he told me that journalists are left or right, environmentalists or not, he is certainly not pro-bitcoin and his articles are not going to help. What I was referring to is the operation of a wind generator. It is not going to spin faster because someone is demanding more energy. What makes it generate more is the wind, not the miners.

Journalists obviously know more about energy production than you. Stay in your lane
