I think I am more amazed he can actually pick the correct posts to zap.

But it did bother me for a while that he didnt post anything, all he did was zap.
I think we have to get over that attitude. Zapping is one of the ways to add value to SN. Not everyone wants to talk and content curation is valuable.
Sure, the precise algorithm might not be perfectly tuned, but that's a different question.
