When do children understand the concept of money?
I think for me it was third grade when I lent a classmate some lunch money and he never paid me back. His dad was also a bandit.
Tremendous situation, the positive thing is that you realized the value and importance at that moment; you made me remember a time when I lent money to my mother, I was about 8 or 9 years old or so, I don't remember why my mother had to ask me for a loan, I think it was because she didn't have cash at the time or she needed change, the point is that when I wanted to collect from her she gave me the most used argument by Latina mothers: "I gave you life, I don't owe you anything", now I remember it and it makes me laugh a lot, but at that moment I felt cheated and sad then my mother returned what I lent her. It's good to develop that type of belonging to your wealth no matter how small it is, especially when you have your first job is when you value your energy and time even more, not to mention the first time you pay your bills.
