The article dismisses any use case of these bulky glasses. I guess they are just for show off.

Like everyone already doesn’t have a phone in front of their face! Now people will all have these goofy glasses on too

I feel like theoretically a conversation is much less interrupted with glasses than when one person constantly looks down on their phone/watch.
Not so much with these bulky glasses tho. Maybe in the future

I like the idea but
- These are too bulky to be just glasses and not big enough to be cool cyberpunk Daft Punk esque
- As long as it is from Snap you know you're paying with your privacy. Use cautiously or better not at all

“We’re trying to be the most developer-friendly platform in the world”
How does putting half a pound glasses in already bulgy eyes (for sitting longer duration in front of computers), gonna be developer friendly, that too when they pay $99 a month?
I can't believe how and they are just keeping on with a failure of a product. Have you ever tried them on? Do they really make any difference?

Are the glasses see-through? and can see at night?
