Yeah as long as you pay it off before the end of whatever time period you've initially paid for. I'm doing this with ~charts_and_numbers right now.
You can basically try out a territory for 13 months for 1,000,000 sats, and then upgrade to finish the payment for the additional 2,000,000 at any time in that first 13 months.

This is awesome and changes a lot for me. I still want to get it done quick. In a year collecting 3m might be super unattainable. Can you pay in a couple chunks?

Not at the moment, but I'm pretty sure allowing different ways to pay territory fees is on the SN crew's radar.
