I've gone through 32 turns in the game, and we're now in the year 575 BC. It's time to make another big decision: who's going to run our civilization? Check out the features of each government in the next picture and pick your favorite.

I usually went Classical Republic, nice bonuses that you don't have to think about much.

I normally pick this one as well, but if war is about to go down, I go oligarchy. I'm thinking I'll have to take out Zanzibar and then Walata. I'm getting boxed in on the map. But it's the stackers' call.

I think that's a fantastic idea! I read your suggestion yesterday.
Zanzibar is good for gold; I usually manage to get a lot of gold from trade routes. Perhaps I could do without Zanzibar. I don't usually go to war with city-states, but this time it seems like a good strategy. Going to war will also allow me to train my troops to gain promotions.

Do you have a lot of units to which Oligarchy would apply or you're planning to build them?
It's been a while since I played Civ. Isn't it better to build ranged units? But maybe that was a different game ...

Currently, I have these units.
The +4 Strength affects the 3 Warriors and the Stearman. However, the +20% experience boost is for all units.

Oligarchy seems to be the one.
The advantage in attacking and defending will probably come in handy.

First time I comment here on S.N about a video game!! I really like classic games!! And well, since I don't know or haven't played this game yet... in the survey I answered "OLIGARCHY" which seems better to me😅
