A few days ago a friend asked me to be his photographer for the day of the gender reveal celebration of his baby that is on the way and as any good photographer passionate about what I do, I obviously said yes!
This is my friend, I took some photos of him while we waited for his wife to finish her makeup and be ready to start the celebration.
I also took a photo of the cake while we waited...
My friend told me that they had been waiting a long time for this baby and that they were very excited, they were enjoying all the stages of this pregnancy to the fullest.
His wife came out and I started taking some photos of them together:
They made all the party decorations with their own hands and with great excitement, they were both super happy about the arrival of this new baby.
I also took a photo of them with their current son, the boy told us that he was waiting for his little brother so he could play with him!
After taking these photos and some others with his family, they went to change the shirt for one that they were going to stain with paint for the gender reveal ceremony!
And the wife started to blindfold my friend:
This photo was very funny, here was the boy "making sure" that his father couldn't see anything, he asked him how many fingers he was showing hahaha
Once they both had their eyes covered, they looked for a colored paint that was going to reveal the baby's gender.
The boy was in charge of painting his parents' shirts, until that moment, both parents still remained unaware of the gender of their next baby.
In the first photo you can see the boy's surprised face when he found out that it would be a boy!
After that, both parents proceeded to take off the blindfold and both reacted with great emotion when they realized that it was a boy!!
The family hugged each other with lots of love and tenderness!
The next photo seemed too tender and full of love to me because my friend was very excited and gave his wife a kiss on the belly and we know that he really intended to give his next boy a kiss..
Then they popped another balloon that said "boy or girl?" and obviously at this point we all knew it was a boy!!
I was also making my "theories" with my friend, I told him that it was very likely that it was another boy since his oldest son is also a boy, which indicates that their genetics are more prone to produce boys... but in the end it was just a theory!
And to finish I took more photos of them together, in these photos you can see their faces different, they look more excited and full of happiness!
I hope you liked these photos as much as we did!!
