It’s been 3 weeks since I wrote my previous post about my quest to get part of the family involved in bitcoin. Fiat job and university are not helping to carry on with the process. However, I have had player one asking me for some of the sats generated in the last post.
Recently we could spend some time talking about bitcoin and we took the opportunity to walk some steps forward. So, I introduced her to phoenix wallet. My main reason was that I use it to login in SN and I thought that could be a way to learn more things.
She downloaded the app and I show her the basics (you can imagine it is very basic as I am a beginner myself). Once we did that, we moved towards SN. She learnt how easy is to login with lightning and could overview some posts. I knew she was going to love the meme posts. As soon as we completed these small tasks, I sent her half of the sats from the previous post.
As she is so keen on getting more sats to be able to buy some clothes, I have suggested that I will pay for some routine tasks at home. We will see how it goes. At the end of the day, I am just trying they get familiarized with bitcoin , wallets, LN, …
Player two is slower. She is happy to listen to our conversations, but still with a fiat mindset and not willing to take steps into the “sats thing”. I will wait for her patiently.
