Over the last two decades China has been trying to come closer to the west even in living standard. The government has fuelled in so much money to build infrastructure that now it's become a burden on people. Can you believe if I point out the toll on the road is costs more than the fuel. It's getting tougher and tougher for people to survive there. But, they can't do much under communism what they had accepted.
