the smarter test-performers of the modern IQ curve are in the midwest, more specifically.
the IQ test puts people on a curve of their peers. each score is weighted against peers at a moment in time for a given test. the overall intelligence of people today, i suspect, is lower than that of people hundreds of years ago, all factors considered. however, we have the potential to be way more intelligent, due to availability of information and resources. what a mess.
in other words, what is the value of being the smartest puppy in the breeding litter according to the puppy-master?
