Great question. Well as someone who uses Gen AI myself, I think it does help in bringing out the kiddos’ inner voice. Sometimes students don’t know where to start. Or even if they write fairly well, they don’t know how to improve to get to the next level. The danger is that it promotes laziness. Some kiddos just want to get a response from Gen AI, submit it as their assignment n get it over n done with. That will lead to the dearth of original thought!
