I'm currently exploring street photography with my 50mm lens and I love it because, being a fixed lens, it reduces the friction of thinking about whether or not to zoom. Over time, you quickly get used to the kind of photos you can take with a 50mm and you instinctively know whether to get closer or farther away from what you want to photograph. So I simply leave the camera configured and when I see a nice scene, I take a photo.
I'll start with my favorite photo of the day. I loved how the sun's rays pierced through the car, creating a very beautiful effect and highlighting the driver's silhouette.
The next two photos I took on the same bridge but in opposite directions. Both people were crossing the bridge, each in their own way
This photo isn't technically perfect but I liked it because it conveys a very beautiful scene, an elderly couple walking together. The way the man holds his partner conveys to me that she is his support in life.
While driving down one of the streets, I saw these motorcyclists carrying a dog in the middle and immediately took out my camera to take this photo, the first from afar because I didn't know if I could take a closer photo.
Seconds later I managed to get closer and take this photo, of this interesting and unrepeatable moment.
took the next photo because the man was washing his truck with great care and affection.
A lady enjoying a beer in front of her house. In Venezuela, it's very common to see people drinking alcohol on the streets.
This car is very old and yet it's still in circulation.
The entrance to a neighborhood in my city. I liked how the lamppost looked with the old car next to it and the neighborhood in the background
I'm enjoying taking street photos with the 50mm because the photos have an interesting closeness and a very beautiful background blur typical of professional cameras. I'll be showing you more photos soon!
