Fun fact. Including this season, the Kansas City Royals have been to the MLB playoffs four times in the last forty years. The last three times they made it all the way to the World Series, and won twice.

Yesterday, the Royals defeated the Baltimore Orioles to move on to the ALDS against the Yankees. Let's see if their trend of being at least AL kings when they do make the playoffs, holds up. I think we would all be pleased to see the mighty Yankees fall.
