I am running full node with activated neutrino. I did started LND and trying to learn / understand. Does it make sense to used neutrino backend for LND and choose neutrino.connect=localhost ?

I think that speed of communication between LND and bitcoind will be same as for backend=bitcoind. And LND will used more space on disk because has to store some "extra db".

so, is my answer: NO, there are no benefits to connect LND to local bitcoind over neutrino correct? thanks
