Whenever I see a new project that uses an alt I always start with the question "Why not use Bitcoin/lightning instead?"

Pretty much 99% of alts don't pass that simple question.

There are specific use cases that might make sense in a few scenarios, but for general use of money, Bitcoin already solved the problem more than a decade ago. Just use Bitcoin.
