Just keep him away from the Chiefs and any NFC competitors I say. Jets would be great.
This comment is based on the my undue belief that the 49ers are going to get their shit figured out and still win the division. Seahawks, Chiefs, Cowboys coming up before the bye. Season could be over quick if they don't get sorted. Thursday night is a huge game.

I hope the Rams are at least bidding him up. It would be nice to have someone at the table saying "F them picks."

1-4. Still injured. 2 games vs seahawks remaining. 1 against 49ers. Bills. Vikings. Eagles. Not sure they will be active.

If not, they should probably be shopping Stafford.

I don't think they will do that. I think they will try to go for it next year when everyone is healthy. They have some nice young players from the last couple drafts. They will likely have a top 15 draft position next year, if not top 10.
The issue with Stafford is he is old and makes a lot of money. So it has to be a situation like Jets were with Rodgers where they think they can win in the next couple years if they just get the right QB. Not sure how many teams feel that way.

It seems unlikely that they'll simultaneously get healthy seasons out of Stafford, Kupp, and Nacua. I'd love to see it, because they're so fun, but I'm not very hopeful.

Agree. I wonder what team would be a good fit for Stafford. I think he would make your Raiders better but would he make you guys a contender? I don't think so. Raiders need to find their QB of the future not a two year place holder. Tried that last year and this year.
Raiders need to find a Stroud or Daniels. Easier said than done. Most QBs drafted high end up being busts.

I thought Miami was the obvious choice, but they look bad enough to get a top QB in the draft this year.
reply
That might make sense. I guess it comes down to whether they would want that top draft pick to try to get their next QB or if they want to try to salvage the season and win with the group they have.
Does anyone know if he would be open to being traded? I keep thinking he is going to retire so I wonder if he is just kinda like fuck it I will just ride it out here
reply
This is a fair point. One would think he would want to compete for another ring but maybe he is content playing out his contract in LA where no one cares about football. Haha.

Yeah lol I could see him just being like... ehhhhhh let me just take this bag and go home lol. I could have seen a move to something like Maimi since they have a pretty complete team but they seem hell bent on bringing back Tula.....

Miami really needs to consider the Tua situation. Not to be cold but they haven't won anything with him. He has been a good QB but not great and the guy is one more concussion away from being done, which he should be.
