I started reading the story of the emergence of Stacker News, created and told by @k00b.
At first I found it interesting, then inspiring. The reflection on the need for a NATURAL COMMUNITY, based precisely on natural human behavior helps me understand the expression "Bitcoin solves that"
When I talk to others about the platform I have a strange feeling. What happens is that I have worked on other platforms in search of extra profit and in all of them there is a referral system, without being a Ponzzi, and the first intention is always to have even the neighbor's cat as a referral, so the profits are greater; but with Stacker News it is not like that for me, to invite someone to be part of the community I have to be sure that they will really contribute something, I do not invite them because they bring me profits, I invite them because they contribute to the community and to their knowledge.
I understand that SN, unlike other platforms, is not enriched by my work, I work for the benefit of everyone, I am where I want to be and with the people I want to be with, so for others to be a part of that, they have to provide real value, Bitcoin has helped me solve that.
In one of the comments on the SN story post @guyfawkes mentioned that he "had problems with daily activities since he found out about this website", I don't know if it happens to others but I have the same difficulty, not because of what I can gain in terms of SATs, but rather because of what I can lose in terms of learning and the desire to contribute.
2 months ago I arrived, always discovering something new, walking inside the rabbit hole that represents Stacker News, striving to contribute something, even if it is minimal to this NATURAL COMMUNITY. BITCOINER HAS DEFINITELY SOLVED THAT TOO
The people here are great for the most part. The information is wonderful and in many cases invaluable.
