This morning I received more photos of the northern lights from Oklahoma, Wisconsin, and DC I wanted to share!
Waurika, Oklahoma
Wisconsin Photos first ones are the naked eye the second are via your cell phone
DC the light pollution really washed this out
Quantico Virginia I posted these early but that way you can see them all together.
For those wondering the geomagnetic storm is expected to last through today so there is a change to see them again tonight but it will be decreasing in intensity!

It is because the phone camera can capture it better than the human eye can. I think there is a mode (I want to say night mode) that really made them pop!

It is a mode on your camera I think it has a longer exposure or something that captures better pictures in the dark
