Most of us think all the time, especially if we include dreams, experiences and basically everything when there is at least some running commentary. This can be verbal, more intuitive or perhaps visual, but its a running, mental process where we try to understand & control what is going on.
Sure, there might be gaps in between thoughts, moments where we notice "glitches", but for the thinking mind its hard to believe, and especially act upon the fact that perhaps most of consciousness is beyond its grasp :-)
I'll get around to describing in detail some experiences with this going back to 95, but for now I'd like to see if anyone has feedback to the following:
  • Its my experience that its possible to be fully awake, and then wake up from that state. Still after all these years since early 95 when this happened the first time its hard to describe, but I do know that it was 100% real, and equally as easy to distinguish as knowing that I'm dreaming or awake.
  • It is possible to slowly making yourself available for states like these, but there might be no way to push for it. You can't dismantle thinking by adding further thinking and will, that is probably why.
  • When living in this state for extended periods literally any and all problems fall away. This ranges from even physical pain to social conflict, it seems that my ability to help & regulate anyone around me gets a real boost. If falling partly out of this state things start slowly unraveling, often leading to myself getting hurt in the process haha!
  • Even mental processes like writing an email can be done in the state of not creating any new thinking yourself, but of course its way harder to maintain. I've written maybe half an email in this state before it all came back, it was a very peculiar experience, certainly pointing to the former list item.
In summary its all been about not feel a need or want to produce any new thoughts or issues. As long as that state has been maintained there has been mental constructs coming into the mindstream based on history or when dealing with others as their needs and issues only.
I'll never claim to be anything or at any level on any scale, this has just been experience, but it does point to one very interesting thought: is this how those why certainly are on levels beyond manage everything around them? Is this how at least some of them can be very useful to a lot of people?
Any feedback would be very welcome! Be rude too if you want, I'll bite back if necessary haha!
This is interesting I’d be interested to know more about it

There will be more coming for sure! :-)

This is a really interesting thought.... I never really thought about comparing those that can seemingly manage everything around with people that just operate in a different level (or I am thinking at a different frequency?) So I have to think about this a little more....Very interesting for sure!

The funny thing with this is that it often leads to thoughts about non-thinking, which is kinda impossible! ;-)
I'm not really in the "frequency camp", although I do that is also a thing...
My experience with what its easier to denominate as simply mind at large, is that its beyond but also embedded in every single, tiny part, but also certainly any groupings and the totality of it all itself.
Furthermore there are techniques where this turns into a practical experience...
It seems to me that intuition, psychic phenomena, things like reincarnation and also remote viewing comes from the same source: unhindered, immaterial, unlimited intelligence.
Our brain as well as psychic subsystems seem to be a transceiver for this, which explains both psychedelics as well as NDEs and so on :-)

This is really the answer. I had Alex Gray's book of illustrations and one part of the text discussed alignments of the body (as in prayer postures). There was a good discussion of the body as "antenna" to contact other frequencies, thoughts, spirits. In the olden days people sought to augment their nervous system by putting intricately shaped gold on the crown of the head.

Yeah he is interesting... But weird as it might sound I tend to think its a transceiver of immaterial signals, its not even about frequencies, more pure, ordered intelligence...
Frequencies is what we might experience in the physical body, or the "almost physical" body that is formed around living things. Who knows, actually never put this into writing nor thoughts before!

the "almost physical" body that is formed around living things.
This is what was understood to be the Astral Body.
The astral body is sometimes said to be visible as an aura of swirling colours.[5] It is widely linked today with out-of-body experiences or astral projection.

Yep. Some traditions even have two parts for it, one that passes on and one that decomposes with time... In the Chinese systems this one is called Po if I recall correctly.

Guess I am not in any camp period...really when I think about it, I look at that like "closely held beliefs" of which I really try to limit but also seem to flow into and out of...
I was just trying to say that some people might call one's "frequency"....and also call it their "level" and be talking about the same thing or concept...
Its much like - everything is a part of everything....Hence the concept of the "Universe" which is supposed to be everything, and yet we kept looking for something outside of that. When really, if you just accept that the world we live in is our current everything - it will be a bit easier to all get along and work together to continue learning all we can about the world around us and what we can do to actually help all humanity and not just one or some countries???

Experience is the only thing that really counts... :-)
