When I used to sauna a lot, I'd do a traditional Finnish sauna. Most of the studies showing benefit (that I saw at least) use traditional saunas so I figured it was safer bet.
I had a cheap popup infrared sauna at one point but it never got as hot or felt as challenging so that also confirmed my bias.
Yeah I did an infrared sauna yesterday and it was chill for half hour then my last ten minutes I was cooking haha just not sure if they are as good as a traditional. I’d like to get one for home but the price difference is substantial which might also mean the traditional is better
