I have been wanting to write another article on a beautiful vintage bicycle, but l havent found one that l really enjoy as much as the Lotus Super Pro.
I have finally found one, and it is the Pinarello Aero from the 1980's.
Very beautiful bike made with the Columbus Air tubing, which was specially shaped to be more aero.
This Pinarello has Campagnolo parts, which was the top company for bike parts at that time.
My Lotus has Shimano Dura Ace AX, which is a unique example of beautiful engineering, coming from a company that was just emerging onto the bike racing scene.

It looks really stunning.
I think yellow is a great colour for a bike. Reminds me of the sunflower field in Japan where I spent a lovely afternoon!

The paint was not as good back then as now.
So even the older bikes have problems with the paint sticking if not prepared correctly.
But this bike does look beautiful!
