Hey, what's going on in Cuba in terms of power? Apparently much of Cuba is without power now (https://www.reuters.com/world/americas/cuba-implements-emergency-measures-millions-go-without-electricity-2024-10-18/).
What's the situation on the ground? Do people in general have generators, or solar panels?
I'd love to hear some more on the story.

Well, let me tell you. One of Cuba's thermoelectric plants suddenly went out of service. None of them are working. That caused the entire electrical system to collapse, and the Big Island of Cuba was left without power. Those of us on the small island, where I live, don't have that problem. Now they are trying to get each thermoelectric plant up and running individually and then synchronize.
That's what's happening.
