I put my faith in you. I need a simple answer because I'm not technically that sound. Can Bitcoin scale to the needs of billions of people in the world with or without Lightning Network?

So you don't put your faith in lightning network?
And, you also believe that Bitcoin on chain will be enough to scale for the whole world?

I love lightning network. It seems like a great solution to me. I am also excited about ecash solutions. I tend to trust people who are building these things more than understanding them. Bitcoin, with just layer one wouldn't be a world wide currency right now. But it's still a store of value for everyone.
