I'm skeptical of any approach dependent on an alternative blockchain that comes with a new token, but is there something to learn in this approach that could be repurposed without the additional blockchain?

I’m skeptical too. If I wanted this feature I would use proton wallet.

Id rather just send a private key and tell them to move asap. Or an ecash token.

i mean with wallet of satoshi you can use a wos email to send sats for example, but any time a personwants to send btc or something via mail to like a no coiner for example, it's never going to be a smooth process as the recipient will always have to do something

In my opinion! I do not agree with these solutions that seek to make it so easy to interact with BITCOIN.
If you want to send Bitcoin to something similar to an email address, that's what Lightning Network Addresses are for.
Why or why send it by email?? 🤔
