- Typically considered an outbreak of the bubonic plague, which is transmitted by rats and fleas, the Black Death wreaked havoc on Europe, North Africa and Central Asia in the mid-14th century. It killed an estimated 75 million people, including 30 to 60 percent of Europe’s population. According to the traditional narrative, the crisis reached England in the spring of 1348 and began assailing its capital by late summer. Scores of Londoners developed painful swellings that oozed blood and pus before suffering fevers, chills, vomiting and severe aches and pains that often heralded their imminent deaths.

Fake news YouTube creators target Black celebrities with AI-generated misinformation
- Many of the video titles and voiceovers have pushed fake narratives that stem from recent rape and sex trafficking lawsuits against Combs, including a high-profile case settled between him and entertainer Casandra “Cassie” Ventura. Other videos have implicated figures like Jakes in the allegations against Combs without evidence and used manipulated media to depict the celebrities engaging in lewd acts and exaggerated displays of emotion in video thumbnails.

People need to have patience with bitcoin adoption, even in El Salvador. Economic interventions rarely sustain themselves in developing countries. It's just too difficult to account for all of the factors keeping current norms in place.
Organic adoption is sustainable adoption.

7.5% is still a good percentage compared to most other countries. I also believe that most of the people from El Salvador have Bitcoin and just aren't going to tell any surveyors the right thing about adoption
Good point. Just like most of us, they're going to answer "Nice try, fed!"
The more educated they get the more these surveys gonna dip in percentage. Last time they were 12%, I'll be happy if they come up below 5% the next time.
