Since it was founded nearly two decades ago, 23andMe has grown into one of the largest biotechnology companies in the world. Millions of people have used its simple genetic testing service, which involves ordering a saliva test, spitting into a tube, and sending it back to the company for a detailed DNA analysis.

I wonder how accurate their results really are. Imagine if it was all a scam.

Just like that blood drop company from that woman.

23andme already got hacked. All those who gave up their dna and data just for fun.... 🤡

I guess their DNA material is not that valuable judging by the fact they just handed it over for analysis to a suspicious unknown third party for the sake purpose of checking whether they have something in common with some famous royalty 🤣 (I'm not sure whether I recall correctly 23andMe advertisement 🤔).

It is a similar case to the latest thing that has arisen in several countries with the company Wordcoin and it was even sanctioned and blocked in some of them!! which is dedicated to paying people with a supposed cryptocurrency that they say will increase in value over time... and they scan the "Iris of their eyes" and that's how simple you earn your money🤑.. but you already know what would happen if the same thing happened to that company if it were on the verge of bankruptcy, where would your personal data go??🤔 In a lunaticoin podcast, a professor and writer of a book about the security of your personal data speaks..!! and it's incredible what happens behind our backs..

Regarding the topic of Wordcoin there are various opinions and different points of view!! But I was just making a small comparison with what they are stating in the article... I think that the security of people's data is sacred!!! and that it should not be violated!
