Hello Cryotosensi, I never visited that Island, but I did go to Sadogashima in October. It was the end of the tourist season, we had the whole hotel to ourselves. It was a really beautiful place. We got there by the ferry from Niigata. To tell the truth, we had the whole Island, what hadn't shut down for the winter, to ourselves. We went everywhere and saw as much as we could. But, I must say, taroro is not to my taste.
