Yeahhhh it was kinda driving me crazy… there should be some rate of decay for those boosted posts to let other boosted posts be able to take their place!

The highest boost on the site stays pinned to the homepage for 30 days unless someone boosts higher.
The expectation is that people keep kicking each other out of the top spot. People just haven't realized it yet so it's very uncompetitive.

I like the idea and advertisement potential, l just didnt enjoy seeing the "bet on the elections" post always above everything else.

No, they only paid once for the boost, it's not a daily payment.
Boosts stays on top for a month or if someone boosts more.
