Take a look at all of the distinctive aspects of Pubky Core and the Pubky App and I think you will notice that we are covering some gaps in the designs of other decentralized web protocols, and also innovating on how we are approaching discovery, etc. You cannot do what Pubky does in Nostr, but there is no reason Nostr couldn't evolve to also support these capabilities, and we hope it does!

Could be argued Nostr has more steps, but I suppose that isn't what is important to users either way.
We have holistically approached the problem set and provided this protocol for the world to use a tool if it needs it. Nostr cannot currently offer credible exit, key management, trustless routing, etc.
We would love to see Nostr use some of our tech, like PKARR, to achieve some interoperability with Pubky and add some of these features! It's totally possible, but these are breaking changes that would need to be coordinated across apps.
