What do you mean?
I know their tile system and growth system when through a huge change.
When a city gains population now, you get to choose which tile your city expands to, also claiming all surrounding tiles. All buildings (I think) are now placed on tiles as well, again, claiming all the tiles surrounding it.
Apparently you'll also now be able to improve a tile first, then later replace it with a building, and move that initial improvement somewhere else.
I hadn't seen that. It sounds very interesting. Is that a replacement for the district system?

Yeah pretty much.
I watched this yesterday, settlers initially create towns now, instead of cities. They also use gold to build stuff and improve, rather than having another production queue. They can also be upgraded to cities.

That's incredible!
I've wanted some of those mechanics for a long time. January is going to be a serious drag on my productivity.

Yep "Hmmm maybe one more turn..." coming soon!
I like all of these design choices so far.
