Sorry if this is a lame post... but I'm really tired (been up all night working). So I have to ask:
If the 'desired balance' for the Stacker News wallet is set for example as 200 sats... Then any balance in excess of 200 sats is withdrawn. However this does not mean it withdraws all 200 sats. Instead only the balance in excess... meaning that if you stack 5 sats to Stacker News your balance becomes '205' and then '5 sats' is withdrawn. Leaving you 200 approximately.
But the withdrawal size is only 5 sats which is less efficient. 200 + 5... - 5 = 200. Withdrawal size 5 sats.
Is there any way to set this so that for example if the desired balance is 200 sats it will 'build up' to 200 sats then withdraw everything? Wouldn't that be more efficient as your could manually set the withdrawal 'size'? Ie build up to 500... then withdraw 'all' 500?
I am currently using a lightning address withdrawal method... and the 'more efficient' receive size is at least 100 sats. Even this however results in a 2.5% fee per Zeus LN addresses (pretty lucrative if you ask me).
Any thoughts on making this more efficient for users? My understanding is that as more providers come into the space, the fees will go down as providers are forced to compete.
In any case, in general, isn't it more efficient to have a 'larger' ie multi-hundred-multi-thousand withdrawal size and how do we set that up in Stacker News?
Thank you in advance.
I like the current way so I have my sats for use on sn then any over the set amount goes to wallet . If it drained all at a point you would have to fund the sn account again to spend

I like that too... However right now it withdraws any amount over the threshold. Not sure how it's supposed to work in November... but a few sat withdrawal could probably be more efficient if it were larger.

There’s no way to do that currently, but we’ll have some changes and improvements as it relates to that soon.
