I don’t think so, because the BRICS are moving to a gold and silver and commodities and crypto backed monetary system. It leaves out the dollar. If we have the majority of gold, silver and cryptos, then US comes out on top.
Right. I heard Russia pulled back from their BRICS currency. Seems they dont trust china enough.

Maybe they don’t trust the banking system they were setting up. Russia wants to be on top, too. What put the US on the top of the heap was our economy in the late 1800s.

If Russia is going to be building mining centers, they arent going to get on top. They will just be backing the USA inadvertently.
reply
Why would you say that. The US has cut them out of the banking system and anything that uses dollars. That’s why BRICS is escaping dollars. Putin said it quite clearly.”They are using their reserve currency as a weapon.” A big mistake in my opinion.

In the USA, there are a lot of bitcoin. I am not saying all, but a huge amount of it sits here. IF they build mining centers, they wont ever own the blockchain. They will only make it stronger. So I dont think it will help them in that regard. Im not saying getting on a bitcoin standard would be bad in any way.
reply
I agree a BTC standard would be very workable. I don’t think that mining will help as much as we think. The coins as a reward for the mining are getting fewer and fewer, as designed.
reply
The coins are getting fewer, but the price of each coin is increasing. So it works out, I think.

You don’t know how it will work out. Will each BTC go to the stars? If it gets too expensive, it will only be used by states with other states.
