The highest energy PoW chain can buy new hardware and 51% attack any other chain that threatens its dominance.. or I guess just diversify into it.. but that could lead to their highest PoW denominated treasury decrease in value.. so attacking may be best.

But if worst comes to worst and BTC fails, at least the concept is there to build on, agree with that.
