Some faiths practice to the exclusion of other faiths--a tenet of some faiths is the elimination of other faiths.

To me, that is evil. All should be inclusive. I don't get it. Seems like a power grab if it isn't open.

I'd say you are basically right about that. Usually, when your faith is founded on "make sure to hate this faith" there is a problem.
