Oh man that was an embarrassing moment for Stevenson. That could end up costing them a playoff berth. 4-3 instead of 5-2 is a big difference when your final 8 games are: 

Packers, Vikings, Lions, 49ers, Vikings, Lions, Seahawks, Packers.

My take is that if you've got your opponent on the ropes and dizzy, you go for a knockout punch (or if you're a cornerback, you focus on the game instead of taunting before a hail Mary). They may still win, but if the Yanks pull off the impossible, this game will be the reason.
