I do think Sorenson is getting better but he is getting wrecked by good play callers especially late in game after they see his tendencies. Wilkes was not the problem but Wilkes didn't run the D the way Shanahan wanted so he was let go.

Crazy that 49ers went from 1st in 4th Q D last year to worst. Some of that is injuries and screw ups by ST and Offense that put the D in a bad spot but clearly the rookie DC is getting taken advantage of while the veteran Wilkes knew the adjustments he had to make.

I don't think I want to watch the game against Detroit. Ben Johnson is going to pull out the backyard football plays and toast Sorenson. 49ers might need to score 40 in that one.
