Sometimes, the most valuable lessons in life come from difficult experiences. What’s one lesson you had to learn the hard way, and how has it shaped you? I’d love to hear your story and what you took away from it.
The hardest lesson I learned the hard way was understanding the importance of setting boundaries. Early in my career, I used to say yes to every task, project, or request, thinking it would make me a reliable team member. But eventually, I realized I was stretching myself thin and burning out. It wasn’t until I hit a breaking point that I understood the power of saying no and setting boundaries. Now, I know my limits and prioritize my well-being, and it’s made me not only happier but also more productive.
Mine's pretty unique but…
Don't lie to your neurosurgeon so you can stay in college with your friends…
The whole thing unraveled a week after the Zoom call with my neurosurgeon and parents 😅 needless to say no one was happy with me

The hardest lesson I learned was that all people are pretty much the same where ever you go. Afghans, Indians, Stan people, Americans, Mexicans and through out the orient, the people are the same. They all want a roof over their heads, food for the family and a chance to get ahead.
