Everyone is just worried because the cycles arent the same as in the past.
Especially the tropical storms.

It's not just the sun, the Earth's magnetic field is also weakening and shifting - hence all the auroras being observed at really low latitudes recently.
This affects the amount and the composition of the radiation/charged particles getting to Earth.

Right. But sun activity (which is the most important factor) is actually slowing down in its cycle as I read. Shelf ice is growing volume etc
