I won some sweet sats on Predyx betting both Yes for Trump and No for Harris.
Logged in to withdraw my winnings, which wasn't as easy as it should be but it worked so I will cut them some slack, and noticed there are a few markets for College Football now.
If you think Oregon, Texas, Georgia or Ohio State will or won't win the National Championship. You can put your hard earned sats on the line.
I don't want to make this post an ad for predyx but I do want to get behind this project because we have been waiting for a lightning based prediction market and sports book for awhile. It's not perfect, but it is the best we have so far.
So check it out if you are inclined. https://beta.predyx.com/
Sats for all, GR
Thanks for reporting the withdrawal issue, is seems there is a bug in LNAddress withdraw. Today another user also reported that. We will fix this tomorrow on a priority basis. Withdrawal is the most important feature which must work all the time.
We are very grateful to have your support and of-course other member like @Undisciplined, @BlokchainB @ek, @TheMorningStar: Without your support we would never be this motivated to deliver the best Prediction Market on LN.
Just to give you some update, probably in 3-4 weeks we will see a major update on our sports markets. I don't want to spill too many details due to confidentiality clauses etc.
reply
Thank for the reply. I'll be waiting curiously for the update.
reply
Looking forward to it. Thanks for responding regarding the withdrawal issue.

I haven't been able to withdraw my winnings from last night, yet. I was really enjoying trading the news last night.
No surprise, I also took the unders on all those CFB Championship odds.
reply
I took yes on Oregon and no on the rest. I am rooting for Texas but sadly I don’t think they will win this year.
reply
Bitcoin going to the Moon is wiping out my DCA, so now I do need to take these odds seriously. Can we get some shitcoiners to sponsor our podcast, too? I gotta keep stacking.
reply
We are not shitcoiners, but happy to sponsor podcast if its related to prediction markets or sports.
reply
I'll also be opening a video channel for sports and prediction market especially for Cricket. Would love to see some cricket prediction market on predyx.
reply
Wow! You won't believe, I'm originally from India. Cricket is in our blood. I grew up playing Cricket in the back alleys and breaking the windows of our neighbors lol, and stealing Guavas and Mangoes from their yards.
So that being said, not trying to boast or something, but we will probably have the biggest Cricket sports market on Predyx. Please give us 3-4 weeks, maybe a little more for Cricket as getting the data is super complex due all the ICC restrictions etc.
BTW, I grew up rooting for Sunil Gavaskar and Kapil Dev. Gavaskar was my favorite batsman and Kapil Dev was my favorite bowler.
reply
Sorry got carried away with Cricket and childhood memories! Forgot to ask you: How can I get in touch with you to discuss the video channel and potential sponsorship?
reply
Great to know! Yours and mine have so much common. I just grew up rooting for Tendulkar and Dravid. A little younger than you, may be. Stealing those fruits from the yards have been like my birth right. However, we also had our own mango gardens.
Guavas and Mangoes from their yards.
Are you from UP/MP? I'm from UP.
You can take your time. Just don't rush. I think Cricket can play a very big role educating Indian people about Bitcoin.
Please tell me where to contact you, I'll drop in a message there. If you're not okay with it, also tell me, I'll drop you a private message with contact details.
reply
Ha ha yes! Stolen fruits from someones backyard is always sweeter than your own. I think it activates some kinda deep unconscious primitive reward system, which I was never able to understand.
Yes, Dravid and Tendulkar were the heros of next gen, you're probably the same age as my younger siblings.
And yes, Indians (east indians) love cricket, if we can merge or link Cricket and Bitcoin in peoples mind, Bitcoin will probably hit 250K sooner, no need for the US Strategic Bitcoin Reserve. And majority of the Indians get scammed by their bookies who live in Dubai. They probably don't even know what prediction market is.
BTW, off lately, I've been witnessing a large breakout in Google trends for prediction markets from the Indian subcontinent. Maybe something is brewing up or could have just been the US Elections. More research is needed.
I was born in a small town in Bihar (your neighboring state). I've been living in the US since 2004. And since 2012, I've been living in the beautiful city of San Diego. Feel free get in touch via Twitter "@ bitSanjay" I will share my email, privately on Twitter DM. You can also reachout via telegarm "@ bitSanjay", however I don't really check my telegram very often.
We just started our pod a month ago. We are in the early days like predyx. We are happy to shout you guys out on the pod and post in the territory. Maybe in the future when both projects are a bit further down the line we can talk sponsorship.
reply
Sure, shout-out would be much appreciated! Yes looking forward to listening to your podcast, can you please share the link? I'm sure we'll get over the early days soon :)
However, please keep us in your mind, we really want to build a great sports community around Predyx. The second biggest volume on PM is Sports, second to the US Elections. Thus its in our budget and roadmap.
reply
They are doing a great job on the POD.
This is the post for the link where you can listen.
reply
Thanks for sharing the link.
We did mention predyx towards the end.
Bitcoin is still massively undervalued by 99.9% of the world. Keep converting fiat to bitcoin and don’t think too hard about it.
Hopefully our fellow workit competitors will feel the wealth effect and not care about the sats they posted for the challenge though. Defeating the lazy is a great way to earn sats.
reply
You have to withdraw via invoice. Lightning address isn’t working.
reply
I tried both last night and neither worked. I only tried lightning address this morning.
reply
Did you try again? I also cant withdraw.
reply
Ultimately, yes, but it wasn't easy. I ended up having to withdraw to my SN wallet, because my other options weren't working.
reply
Thanks
reply
Invoice worked for me today. But not lightning address.
