I live in Europe but not an European.
Whenever I mention how governments are pretty much useless when it comes to important matters (to me for any matter but you know how it is), most people/friends (notice I wrote most, not all) get very defensive of it.
If you're not aware, a terrible flooding has affected the Valencian region causing multiple deaths and destruction.
What did the local government did? Nothing!
In the end, the people were ones helping each other out. Useless politicians took ages to react.
I wish more people would wake up to this and a shame people will forget this very soon after.
